In Mokama-Tal, a violent altercation between two groups resulted in shooting and Dular Chand Yadav's untimely death. According to reports, he was taking part in his nephew Piyush Pradarshi's election campaign.

Piyush is running as a candidate for the Jan Swaraj Party. Initial police statements suggest that the occurrence was an accident. Locals, however, allege that the altercation turned violent and resulted in gunfire.

Known to be a close acquaintance of Lalu Prasad Yadav, Dular Chand Yadav was a powerful figure in the Mokama-Tal area.

According to witnesses, Yadav died in his car after gunfire broke out following a violent altercation between the two parties. The incident has shocked people all around the region.

Tensions erupted during Piyush Pradarshi's campaign rally after a group allegedly began yelling slogans. Soon after, there was violence, with roughly 40 cars from one side and 10 from the other. Dular Chand Yadav was shot dead as the altercation swiftly descended into chaos.

Anand Singh, the JDU's candidate for Mokama, has heightened the dispute by accusing another well-known strongman, Surajbhan Singh, of being responsible for the attack. Singh suggested a prearranged ambush by claiming he had already left the location with his followers before the violence started.

RJD leader Rohini Acharya responded to the murder by claiming that the NDA was encouraging a culture of violence in Bihar in a forceful social media post. She described the present state of affairs as a "reign of terror disguised as governance," writing that "those who thrive on murder and bloodshed have unleashed a wave of killings in the state."

Ahead of the elections, political tensions have been rekindled by the unfortunate death of Dular Chand Yadav, a prominent person in the area, with both parties making grave accusations against one another.
