Bareilly Violence: Bulldozers Roll as Authorities Crack Down on Rioters Linked to Maulana Tauqeer Raza

After the September 26 violence in Bareilly, the administration has taken strong action. The crackdown has now reached those believed to be behind the unrest. Bulldozers have been deployed against Maulana Tauqeer Raza — identified as the alleged mastermind — and his close associates. The Bareilly Municipal Corporation and Development Authority teams arrived at Sailani Market, where nearly 200 illegally constructed shops were demolished. Officials stated that those involved in instigating the riots will not be spared. Among the key properties targeted was Raza Palace , owned by Dr. Nafees — a close aide and right-hand man of Tauqeer Raza. Multiple bulldozers were sent to the site, beginning with the gate being torn down before entering the premises to demolish the illegal structure completely. During the demolition, a large police force was stationed to maintain order and prevent any further disturbances. Authorities confirmed that several other illegal constructions at Sailani Market...

UP on High Alert: Yogi Government Tightens Law and Order Across 75 Districts Amid Friday Prayers

Uttar Pradesh remained on high alert across all 75 districts this Friday, with strict security and surveillance measures in place. Police conducted flag marches in several sensitive areas to ensure peace during Friday prayers. In Muzaffarnagar, police patrolled the streets and monitored critical zones closely. Similarly, in Auraiya, heavy police deployment was seen around sensitive localities to prevent any disturbance. In Amroha, elaborate security arrangements were made to ensure that the Friday prayers concluded peacefully. From the early morning hours, station officers were patrolling their respective regions, and prayers were offered at mosques around noon. In Varanasi, police remained on alert, and ATS commandos carried out mock drills at major transit points like Cantt Railway Station and the bus terminal. The DCP personally inspected security arrangements across sensitive areas. Kanpur also remained under heightened vigilance with police flag marches in vulnerable zones. I...

Bareilly Violence Aftermath: Strong Police Action and Political Reactions Across Uttar Pradesh

The situation in Bareilly has taken a dramatic turn. The same streets that once witnessed chaos and violence are now under the strict watch of Uttar Pradesh Police. Days after the riots that shook the city, law enforcement is asserting its dominance. Where protesters once raised slogans, now the sound of police marches echoes through the lanes. The localities that were earlier gathering points for rioters are now deserted, with security forces stationed at every corner. The visuals emerging from Bareilly today perfectly represent the rule of law in action. The administration’s firm response has instilled a visible sense of fear among those responsible for the unrest. Following Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s clear directive to act tough on rioters, the police have launched a widespread crackdown. Over 80 people, including Nafees Khan and his son, have been arrested. Close aides of Maulana Tauqeer Raza — such as local councillors Usman Raza Khan and Mohsin Raza Khan — have been ...

U.S Government Shutdown Deepens: Republicans Urge Democrats to Back Clean Funding Bill and End the Stalemate.

Two weeks have passed since we initially voted on a clean continuing resolution to maintain government operations, Mr. President.  Long before it began, this shutdown might have been prevented.  Unfortunately, we are now approaching the third day of this needless shutdown because Democrats are unwilling to make concessions on their ideological demands. We might be working productively right now, approving the bipartisan defence authorisation bill, conducting conferences on the three appropriations measures voted back in August, or moving bipartisan appropriations legislation forward through regular procedure.  Instead, the American people are suffering as a result of the stalemate that the Democrats have manufactured. A clean, impartial funding extension is the consensus among Republicans.  It is currently in the Senate, awaiting a vote, having already received approval from the House.  This plan is straightforward, straightforward, and unambiguous; it contains ...
